Marge Lester married her high school sweetheart, Clifford, in 1943. Together, they raised three children—David (a filmmaker), Teece (a wildlife educator), and Brian (a musician and performer). Cliff, a professional dancer, worked as a pumper engineer for the Cleveland Fire Department until they created a very successful dance studio. When the kids left home, they packed up for Hawaii. The sixteen years Marge and Cliff lived on Oahu spawned Children as Teachers. But eventually the tug of family drew them back to the mainland— first to San Diego and now, Murietta, where they currently reside.
